Omar sarmini born in the al-aqaba in Aleppo in 1962,
Omar sarmini studied Quran recitation and the rules of Tajwid under
"Shikh Ahmad Adlabi".
He also studied muwashahat with "nadeem aldarwish" and the oud with
"Muhammad qassas" in the Arab institute of music in Aleppo.
Omar sarmini dedicated himself to the performance of Old tarab
musical forms such as the "daur", the "muwashah" the "qasida" and
"Aleppo qadds".
He has performed in numerous concerts both in Syria and abroad
including the fez spiritual music festival, al-Medina festival and
the Carthage festival in Tunisia.
He has also given concerts in the Arab world institute in Paris and
in Spain. He has also given concerts in the Almadina stage in Paris
and Opera in Brazil. He has also given concerts in the many festival
in Europe and America.
